The 2021 Lincoln Corsair is a standout luxury SUV that offers both plenty of power and fuel economy. When you're choosing your next SUV, fuel economy is something important to consider. You want to know that you're going to get where you want to go without stopping too many times for gas along the way.

Lincoln of Troy has put together this page on the MPG ratings of the 2021 Lincoln Corsair to give drivers from Troy, Detroit, and Oak a clear look at just how much the Lincoln Corsair has to offer.

Engine Options

The Lincoln Corsair offers three engine options, each with plenty of power.

The standard engine is a 2.0L turbocharged I-4 engine that puts out 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

The second engine option you have is the available turbocharged 2.3L turbocharged I-4 that provides 295 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines are paired with standard 8-Speed SelectShift® automatic transmission with paddle activation.

The third engine option is a hybrid engine which provides both the second most horsepower and the most fuel economy of all three engines. The 2.5L i-VCT Atkinson I-4 hybrid engine is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with SelectShift® paddle activation that boasts an impressive 266 combined horsepower.

Lincoln Corsair MPG

With three different engine types come three different fuel economies. There are also slight variations when you factor in standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive.

The 2.0L I-4 engine is the only engine with a front-wheel-drive; the other two engines only offer all-wheel drive. The 2.0L I-4 engine has an EPA-estimated 22 city / 29 highway MPG when equipped with front-wheel drive.1 With available all-wheel drive, you'll get almost the same fuel economy with an EPA-estimated 21 city / 29 highway MPG.1

The 2.3L I-4 engine only comes with an all-wheel drive system. Even with its additional horsepower, it nearly keeps pace with the fuel economy of the other gas engine. The 2.3L I-4 engine offers an EPA-estimated 21 city / 28 highway MPG.1

Like the available gas engine, the hybrid engine also comes standard with all-wheel drive. However, the hybrid engine outpaces both gas engines in terms of fuel economy with an EPA-estimated 83 city / 72 highway MPG.1

Fuel-Saving Tips in Troy, MI

When you drive, you can do a few things to help improve your vehicle's fuel economy. To help you do just that, we've included some tips:

  • Observe the Speed Limit: Following the speed limit not only saves lives but saves fuel. When you go over 50 MPH, you use significantly more fuel. By following the speed limit, you're less likely to waste fuel.
  • Remove Excess Weight: Removing unneeded items from your vehicle helps improve fuel economy. The more weight in your vehicle, the more gas your car uses to get up to speed.
  • Use Cruise Control: When you use cruise control, you keep your vehicle at a steady speed. With less acceleration, you use less gas.
