Acura RDX enters the 2018 model year with no significant changes. it continues to be powered by a 3.5L engine delivering 279 horsepower and offers a host of safety technologies and luxury features, either standard or available. Prices for 2018 start at $36,775. See how Lincoln MKC compares.
Acura claims that the RDX changes for 2016 resulted in a more powerful and fuel-efficient 3.5L i-VTEC V6 engine.

Acura promotes its 2018 RDX as delivering comfort on demand. It offers heated front seats standard. For year-round comfort, ventilated front seats are included in the available $1,700 Advanced Package.
Acura is able to keep the price of this package reasonable because it has removed features that were included in 2017. For example, to get the Blind Spot Information System , Rear Cross Traffic Monitor and dynamic lines on the rear camera display, RDX owners must also opt for the $3,700 Tech Package. To get front and rear parking sensors, they must also choose the Advanced Package. It costs an additional $1,700. That brings the total to $43,475.
By Comparison, Lincoln MKC Reserve FWD models equipped with the Tech Package feature a $43,205 MSRP. This allows Lincoln MKC owners to get all of the features found in RDX, plus added convenience of active park assist and Auto Start-Stop Tech, and still save hundreds!
The $1,700 Advanced package for RDX does not tell the complete story. Acura clients cannot simply choose this package; they must also choose the AcuraWatch Plus Package ($1,300) and the $3,700 Tech Package. That puts the minimum price for ventilated front seats at $43,475.
Climate-controlled ventilated (cooled) front seats are standard on Lincoln MKC Reserve FWD, which features a $40,910 price - a $2,565 price advantage over Acura RDX.

Acura Q5

Audi Q5 is all new ofr 2018. The exterior has been extensively redesigned and now features a coupe-like roofline and pronounced wheel arches, while the interior sports a wraparound dashbpoard. The 2.0L TFSI engine - the only engine for the 2018 - produces 252 horsepower and 273lb-ft of torque and is paired with seven speed automatic. In addition to a revised front five-link suspension, the 2018 is the bran's quattro All-Wheel-Drive System. Audi claims it's optimized for performance and efficiency. Q5 is available in Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. Prices start @ $42,475
Audi redesigned the 2.0L TFSI engine in the Q5. For 2018, it generates 252 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. Audi claims it allows the 2018 Q5 to sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds, more than a full second faster than the 2017 model.
The all-new Q5 features a new system of quattro all-wheel drive with ultra technology that is optimized for performance and efficiency. Audi claimes this version can "modify the torque application as the driver demands or as the road conditions require."
All Audi models, including the Q5, are known for their expertly crafted interiors and upscale materials.
Lincoln MKC doesn't shy away from delivering the "sport" aspect of sport utility vehicle.
The available Turbocharged 2.3L engine produces more horsepower (285) and a great deal more torque (305) than the sole engine in the Audi Q5
The standard Turobocharged 2.0L engine, meanwhile, delivers similar torque ratings and slightly less horsepower. Both Lincoln MKC engines can operate on regular fuel, rather than the more expensive 91+-octane premium fuel required by the sole engine in the Audi Q5 engine, making Lincoln MKC egines efficient and economical.
The All-Wheel Drive System in Lincoln MKC includes Torque Vectoring Control for a controlled driving experience in all weather conditions. It also includes an adaptive suspension that continuously adjusts a host of vehicle components - including engine throttle response and steering feel - based on the driver's preferred ride quality: Normal, comfort or Sport.

BMW introduced its all-new 2018 X# earlier this year. it features new exterior styling - including a "three-dimensional" kidney grille and fog lamps featuring hexagonal design. The wheelbase has been extended 2.2 inches, and the 2018 X3 will be the first BMW sport activity vehicle to feature an available factory-installed trailer hitch. inside, three-zone climate control has been added and the 40/20/40 rear-seat backrests can be individually adjusted. Ventilated front seats and a panoramic, moonroof are also newly available for 2018. A performance model, the M40i, is available; the first performance model in the X3 model lineup.

Lexus NX has undergone significant changes compared to the 2017 model, including newly restyled front and rear treatments, and the rear hatch will feature foot activation. Inside, the information and entertainment screen grows by more than 3 inches, and nearly all controls feature a metallic satin finish. Lexus will replace the NX200t name with NX300, though it does not appear that anything else with this engine will change.

Any way it's measured, Lincoln MKC offers superior value. Take fuel economy, for example. While the Lexus 2.0L engine has a slight edge, it requires 91+-octane premium fuel, making Lincoln MKC the better overall value. Lincoln MKC Premiere FWD is also priced $2,000 less than the entry level NX 300, yet it offers a fuller range of standard equipment.
Perhaps Lexus uses a different measurement in determining that its NX 300 has an abundantly roomy interior. Many media reviews have noted its limited cargo capacity behind the rear seat (17.7 cu. ft.). It pales in comparison to the 25.2 cu. ft. in Lincoln MKC. Lincoln MKC also has more rear leg room and more head room (front and rear) than Lexus NX 300
